Chore chart app

A chore chart app kids actually use.

Braid puts each child's chores on the kitchen wall display, next to the family calendar. Kids tap to check off, earn stars, and save up for rewards you choose.

How chores work in Braid.

  1. Create a chore card

Give it a title and an icon, like "Make bed". Choose which kids it's for.

  2. Pick when it's due

Once on a date, every day, or on chosen weekdays. Add a due time if it matters, like "by 7:30am".

  3. Kids check it off

A big tap target on the wall display. Daily cards come back the next day.

  4. Stars add up to rewards

Each card is worth stars (1 by default). Set rewards like "Movie night: 20 stars" for one child or anyone.

Parents stay in charge.

See what got done

This week's check-offs, by child, on your phone.

Undo a check-off

Tapped by mistake, or by a sibling? Undo it and the stars go back.

You redeem rewards

Kids can't cash in from the tablet. A parent marks the reward redeemed and the stars are spent.

Fair to past effort

Change what a card is worth later and stars already earned stay the same.
