Your company calendar, a client's calendar, the side business, and the kids' practice schedule. Braid puts them in one view, and shows each side only what it needs to know.

## Built for the parent with too many calendars.

- **Every work calendar in one view.** Your company, each client, a board seat, the side business. Add any calendar that has an iCal link.
- **School pickup next to your meetings.** The family and school calendars sit beside your work ones, so the 3:15 pickup is never a surprise.
- **Your family sees Busy across every job.** One share link can combine all your work calendars as plain Busy blocks. No meeting names at the dinner table.
- **Each employer sees only Busy.** Give a client or a second employer a Busy only link of your other calendars, so they can check before inviting you.
- **One booking page across everything.** People book only when your work and family calendars are all free.
- **Both parents, one household.** Each parent adds their own work calendars and chooses what to share with the family.

## Each side sees only what it needs.

Make one share link per audience. Each link picks its calendars and its level of detail.

| Audience | What you share | What they see |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Your household | Every work calendar, Busy only | Busy blocks, no meeting names |
| Your partner | Your calendars, titles | Event names and times |
| A client or second employer | Your other calendars, Busy only | When you're taken, nothing more |
| Anyone booking time with you | A booking page | Only times when every calendar is free |

## What goes on the kitchen wall is up to you.

Keep work calendars off the wall display, or add them so the kids know when you're out.

On the wall, anything you've marked private in your own calendar shows only as Busy.

## Set it up on a lunch break.

1. **Add each work calendar.** Paste its iCal link. Google, Outlook and most work calendars offer one.
2. **Add the family's calendars.** School, sports and the family calendar, by link or by email.
3. **Make a link for each audience.** Busy only for home, titles for your partner, Busy for each employer.
4. **Add a booking page if you take meetings.** It checks every calendar before offering a time.

## Questions

### Can I combine work calendars from two different companies?

Yes. Add each one by its iCal link. Some employers turn off calendar publishing in Outlook; if the option is missing, ask your IT team.

### Will coworkers see my family events when they schedule a meeting?

Not automatically. A calendar you subscribe to shows for you, not in your company's scheduling tools. To let a colleague check, send them a Busy only link.

### Is it safe to put a work calendar in Braid?

You decide what leaves Braid. Busy only links never include titles, notes, attendees or locations. Check your employer's rules on publishing calendars before you add one.

### Can my partner add their work calendars too?

Yes. Invite them to your household and they add their own calendars and choose what to share.
