Contractors, consultants, board members and parents with two jobs live in several work calendars that can't see each other. Braid weaves them together with the family calendar, so nothing gets double-booked.

## The double-booking problem, solved.

| The problem | With Braid |
| --- | --- |
| Client A books over Client B | Each gets a Busy only link of your other calendars |
| A work meeting lands on school pickup | Work and family calendars in one view |
| Your family can't tell when you're free | One Busy link that covers every job |
| Booking tools check only one calendar | A booking page that checks them all |

## How to combine your work calendars.

1. **Get each calendar's link.** In Google Calendar, copy the **Secret address in iCal format**. In Outlook, publish the calendar and copy the **ICS** link. Some workplaces turn this off.
2. **Paste them into Braid.** Braid checks each link, names the calendar, and keeps it in sync.
3. **Share Busy across calendars.** One share link can include as many calendars as you like. Send a Busy only link to home, or to each client.

## Good to know.

- Braid reads your calendars. It never adds events to them.
- Busy only links never include titles, notes, attendees or locations.
- Linked calendars refresh every 15 minutes, or right away when you tap sync.
- Check your employer's rules before publishing a work calendar.

## Questions

### How do I see all my work calendars in one place?

Copy each calendar's iCal link and add it to Braid. Every work calendar, plus your family's, appears in one view.

### Can I show one client when I'm busy with another?

Yes. Create a Busy only share link with your other calendars and send it to them. They see blocks of time, never names or details.

### Does Braid add events to my work calendars?

No. Braid reads them and brings them together; it doesn't write back.
